Former Vice-President of Fundação Butantan (2005-2010) and Director of the Center of Biotechnology/Vaccine Development Laboratory (2010-2019) at Instituto Butantan. Has been member of the Steering Committee of the Developing Countries Vaccine Manufacturing Network – DCVMN (2010-2014) and the National Committee for Regulation of Genetically Modified Organisms – CTNBio (2013-2019). Is currently on the Academic Management Board of the Leading International Vaccinology Education – an Erasmus master course. Founder of the start-up BCGene Desenvolvimentos LTDA. Has recently been appointed to join the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness and Innovations (CEPI).
